Last time I posted on this blog was almost 2 years ago. I usually don't write about my personal feelings. But today is a special day. It's the birthday of my late brother Ammas Abbas, May Allah bless his soul always.
Here
are 5 reasons I couldn’t write continuously on this blog.
My
Studies:
As I
was busy with my MPhil studies, I couldn’t give proper time to this blog writing.
Online classes because of widespread COVID-19, hectic deadlines for
assignments, the continuous stressful effort for writing research proposals and on
campus exams were a tough combination for sparing extra time for writing.
Over-Thinking:
Who
can deny the stressful times of corona waves and depression caused by unchecked
screentime for using social media all that time? In addition to that
overthinking about causalities by deadly waves was a major reason I was unable
to write for my blog.
Political Instability:
The severe economic crisis
and the non-serious behavior of political leaders in Pakistan caused political
instability during the last 2.5 years. Unavoidable political tension made it hard
to focus on creative writing for my blog postings.
Lack of motivation:
Doing creative work extra hours without reward, even in the beginning is hard sometimes. As my blog
was new it required more hard work and consistency for posts. Lack of
motivation was another factor for my absence from the blog.
Family matters:
Everything happens for a
good reason. If I was unable to give my time here at my blog I might have been
needed to some other more important place. Yes! The kind God blessed me with a
baby boy last year in September. I was cherishing every moment with my newborn.
In the love with my late brother, I named him Muhammad Ammas Faateh. All my
support, love and prayers be with him eternally.
